This smoothie is perfect for days when I want to take a break from my everyday green smoothie or juice. It takes no time at all to throw together and the great thing is you don’t need fresh berries; frozen raspberries work perfectly well and perform the extra task of making this smoothie cool and refreshing. The cashew nut butter and nut milk make the smoothie extra creamy. This smoothie isn’t a breakfast in itself as its not filling enough for me. Rather I have it along with something else like porridge, chia pudding or eggs.
2 cups almond milk
1 cup frozen raspberries
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp cashew nut butter
Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or keep in the fridge for up to 14 hours.
